Mrs. Mary E. Aycock Mary Elizabeth Aycock, 87, of Chin- oteague Island, passed away Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at eninsula egional Medical Center, Salisbury, Maryland. Mothers was born on Chinco- eague Island on Jan.

31, 1927, the daughter of the late Georgia T. (Bunting) ewis and step-father, Herman Lewis. She was raised and dearly loved her grandparents, Ken J. and Mary A nn Bunting. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and aughters of Ruth Sunday School Class in Chin- oteague Island.

She also was a member of Order of Eastern Star 62. She worked as a Cafeteria Manager of Chincoteague igh School for many ears. She is survived by two daughters, Jane Speidel and her husband, Bill, of Chincoteague Island, and Rosanne Conner and her husband, Bobby, of Chin- oteague Island; nine grandchildren, Lisa Hudgins and her husband, Dav id Wayne, of Chincoteague Island, Karla Quillen and her husband, David, of Salisbury, Angie Messner of Chandler, Ariz ona, Kelly Fox of Chinco- teague Island, Mary Ann Lilliston of Chincoteague I sland, Jesse Speidel and his wife, Valerie, of Chin- oteague Island, Chuck James of Montross, Virginia, Suzannah James of Mrytle Beach, South Carolina, and Jonathan Conn er and his wife, Candi hincoteague Island. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, Rebekah Bloxom and her husband, Jimmy, of Chincoteague Island, Mary Derrickson and her hus- and, Brian, of Pocomoke City, Maryland, David Speidel and his wife, Krist in, of Chincoteague Island, Indiana Quillen of Salisbury, Savannah Quillen of Salisbury, Kate Jo Messner of Chandler, ach Messner of Chandler, Billy Fox II of Chincoteague Island, Kristin Fox of Chincoteague Island, Rachel Britton and er husband, Luke, of Chincoteague Island, annah Lilliston of Chincoteague Island, Peyton Speidel of Chincoteague Island, Logan Speidel of Chincoteague Island, Jord an Speidel of Chinco- eague Island, Josh Bowen of Virginia Beach, Jada Bowen of Virginia Beach, and Jaquan Montgomery of Norfolk, Virgnia; five great-great- grandchildren, Madison udgins of Chincoteague Island, Wes Britton of Chincoteague Island, Nat han Speidel of Chincoteague Island, Camden Speidel of Chincoteague Island, and Carter Speidel of Chincoteague Island; ne great-great-grandchild, Baby Derrickson due in January; and sever- al nieces, nephews, and cousins. he was predeceased by her parents, and a aughter, Claudia Murray.

Funeral service was held at Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague Is- and, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, A ug. 10, with the Rev. Kevin Eley and the Rev. John Thorne officiating.

Interment was held at Bunting Cemetery, Chincoteague Island. Flowers accepted, or onations may be made to Union Baptist Church Benevolence, 6365 Church Chincoteague Island, VA 23336.
