This month's din-iner will be in Orrell's Surrey Restaurant in Delmar with a 1 kaffinninfl 'il En tTI BETTY O.WARD POCOMOKE CITY Betty Ward of Pocomoke City died Monday in the Peninsula General Hospital Medical Center in Salisbury after a short illness.

Born here, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Taylor Ward. Miss Ward was a retired seamstress. She was a member here of Salem United Methodist Chuch and was honored last year by the WARS" IIUUI I AGNES C. SANGER EASTON Private funeral services are planned for Agnes C. Sanger, 63, of the Easton area, a former secretary for the late Republican Rep.

Rogers C. B. Morton. Mrs. Sanger died Saturday in Easton Memorial Hospital alter a long illness.

She was a secretary for Morton from I960 to 19U6. She was also executive secretary of the Academy of Arts here for several years until her retirement in 1975. Mrs. Sanger made her home here witfi her mother, Elizabeth Tilghman Combs. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are two daughters, Nancy C.

Stevens. comprised of a diversified number of local people either em-, ployed or interested in all facets of science and engineering. Dinner meetings are held monthly to encourage an exchange of information among members from the various science disciplines as well as a social gathering. The meetings frequently feature highly sought after speakers and the presentation of new research papers. The organization has also been a co-sponsor of the Lower Shore Science Fair for high school students and has helped high school science teachers with contributions to attend national conventions.

Officers are: President, Clarence McKinley; vice president, Dr. John Buchness; Walt Nichols; corresponding, secretary, secretary-treasurer, Fred Dinges; and directors Ken The Delmarva Science and Engineering Society begins its new season of monthly meetings with a dinner Wednesday featuring speaker Edward P. Phillips, coordinator for the C-oastal Zone Planning Management in Wicomico and Worcester Counties. Phillips will speak on the exploration of geothermal energy along the Atlantic Coastal Plain, a topic of interest since a less-than-productive hot water well was tested this summer in Crisfield. Arrangements are being handled by the Watson and Melson Funeral Home here. ROBERT R. ROBINSON MARDELA SPRINGS -Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Mar-dela Memorial Cemetery for Robert R. "Bob" Robinson, 27, of Mardela Springs.

He died Sunday in the Peninsula General Hospital Medical Center in Salisbury after a long illness. The Rev. Steve Smith will officiate. Robinson was a former assistant manager with Finance America in Salisbury. He was a 1970 graduate of Mardela High School.

Born here, he was a son of Harry R. Robinson of Mardela Springs and the late Myrtle Culver Robinson. Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife, Diana Oliver Robinson; three brothers, Claude Robinson, Mardela Springs, Donald Robinson, Fruitland, and James Robinson, Baltimore; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. WENDY L.

WOOTERS EASTON Funeral services are scheduled here at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of the Brethren for 18-year-old Wendy Lee Wooters of Easton. She died Sunday of injuries suffered in an autombile accident near Lexington, as she was en route to Southern Seminary Junior College in Buena Vista, Va. A 1978 graduate of Easton High School she had planned to major in fashion merchandising. In high school, she was a member of the band, Student and the National Honor Scoiety.

She was also active in speech and drama and played on the Softball and volleyball teams. Miss Wooters was selected queen of the Easton Volunteer Fire Company for 1978-79. This past summer she worked as a waitress in Ocean City. i Surviving are her parents, Howard H. and Joan Weisbrod Wooters; a brother and a sister, Chervl Ann and Steven L.

Wooters; her maternal grandmother, Pauline F. Weisbrod, Easton; and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard H. Wooters Cordova.

The family suggests that, as a tribute to the memory of the deceased, contributions may be made to the Wendy Wooters Scholarship Fund of the Easton Church of the Brethren. Wednesday. niKSTON Mccormick SEAFOKD Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Watson Funeral Home' in Seaford for Chest on R. McCormick 63, of Seaford. He died in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford Sunday after a long illness.

Interment will be in Seaford's Odd Fellows Cemetery. McCormick retired in 1976 after 39 years as a chemist with the DuPont company in Seaford. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Five McCormick: his mother, Ideila J. McCormick. Delmar; three children, Ann E.

MORRIS WETIPQUIN Funeral services will be held here at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Friendship United Methodist Church for a member. Lydia C. Morris, 82, of Wetipquin. She died Friday in Peninsula General Hospital Medical Center in Salisbury after a long illness.

The Rev. Edward Lee will officiate. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Wetipauin's Odd Fellows Cemetery. Born here, she was a daughter of the late Samuel B.

and Maggie C. Lankford. Her husband, Vance K. Morris, died in 1973. Mrs.

Morris had lived here since 1974 with a niece, Myrtle Johnson. She had previously lived in Chester, where she was a housekeeper. In earlier years she had taught in Chester-town and in Wicomico County. Mrs. Morris was also a mem- ber of the Church of God in Christ in Chester.

Surviving are a brother, Mar-cellous Camper of Wetipquin, and several other nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the church from 6 to 8 p. m. Wednesday. ELOISE V.

CUTLER POCOMOKE CITY Graveside memorial services will be held here at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 16 in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery for Eloise V. Cutler, 66, of New York City, formerly of Pocomoke City. She died Sept.

3 in St. Luke's Hospital in New York City after a long illness. Officiating here will be the Rev. Thomas J. Wall.

Another memorial service will be held at a later date in Christ United Methodist Church in New York City. Born here, she was a daughter of the late Otho Roy and Mary Grace Brittingham Cutler. Miss Cutler was a registered nurse and had retired from the staff of St. Luke's Hospital. Last May she received an honorary recognition award from the New York Counties Registered Nurses Association Inc.

for being a nurse and also teaching nursing for 43 years. She held a master's degree from the University of Virginia. Surviving are two brothers, Paul L. Cutler, Pocomoke City, and Earl L. Cutler, Lansdowne, and several nieces and nephews.
