A Mass Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary, Refuge of Sinners Catholic Church.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery Eastern Shore. HARVEY H. GREGORY, 71, of Hurlock died Sunday, Jan.

25, 2009, at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hurlock United Methodist Church, where friends may call two hours prior to the service. Interment will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery Eastern Shore. EASTON CharleneL.

Barkley of Easton was called home by the Almighty God on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009. Charlene peacefully entered her eternal rest at the University Of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Born in Salisbury on Oct. 13, 1961, she was a daughter of Helena Barkley and George Fitchett.

She was the youngest born of seven children. 1 Charlene was a graduate of Wicomico Senior High School. She relocated to St, Michaels and was employed with St. Michaels Harbour Inn Marina and Spa. She was raised in St.

James A.M.E. Zion Church, where she was active in Sunday school and junior church. She was a dedicated and wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She had a winning personality and a heart of gold. She enjoyed spending her time with family Barkley of Salisbury and Louella Cane (Rudolph) of Hebron; five uncles, Granville (Thelma) and George Dutton, both of Salisbury, the Rev.

Robert Dutton of Bridgeville, Cranston Fitchett (Doris) and Samuel and Louis Fitchett, all of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helena Barkley; father, George Fitchett; and brother, Harrison Barkley. A funeral service will be held at 1 1 a.m. Friday at St. James A.M.E.

Zion Church on Mack Avenue in Salisbury. Family and friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and an hour prior to the service at the church. The Rev. M.

Luther Hill will be the officiating pastor. Interment will be in Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron. Arrangements are being handled by Stewart Funeral Home in Salisbury. LUCILLE BEWINGTON HEARNE ANDORKA of Sun City, died Friday Jan. 23, 2009.

Charlene is survived by her children, Latoya and Michael Cooper of St. Michaels; grandchildren, Timothy Toundor and Ke'Asia and Karlee Holly; stepmother, Mary Fitchett; brothers, Maurice and Marvin of Norwalk Conn; surrogate mother, Florence Cooper of Wittman, Md; sisters, Veronica Collick (Earl) of Lanham, Maria Sinclair of Louisville Lenora Barkley, Renee' Stevenson and Hilda Barkley, all of Salisbury; a goddaughter, Shantel Dodd; two aunts, Anna S. Lee Smith Jr. a construction, home improvement, roofing and siding in 1952, In 1962, he incorporated and began commercial construction and began acquiring rental units. In 1972, he opened Value Carpet One.

He was a former member of the Salisbury Exchange Club, The Eastern Shore Builders Association, Salisbury Chamber of Commerce, Wicomico Power Ruth Anna Cowgill and her husband, Edward, of Harrington; eight grandchildren, David Price of Delmar, Lori McKewen of Felton, Jessica Lane of Hurlock, Wayne Fretterd Jr, of Denton, Ronald Hutson Jr. of Smyrna, Erin Bartz of Denton, Amanda Cowgill of Federals-burg, Adam Cowgill of Denton; 17 great-grandchildren; special friends, Debbie Cowgill, Debbie Haynie, Robin and Lillian Hoffman, and "The Saturday Nightclub." In addition to her parents, ,4 SALISBURY S. Lee Smith 79, of Salisbury died peacefully surrounded by his family at Peninsula Regional Medical Center on Monday, Jan. 26,2009. Born April 19, 1929, in Salisbury, he was a son of the late Samuel Lee Smith Sr.

and Willye T.Smith. He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Jane Smith; three daughters, Alberta Harrison of Ocean City, Valerie Adams and Cindy Plichard, both of Salisbury; and five grandchildren, Christopher Adams, Peter Adams, G. Hale Harrison, and Jonathan Plichard. His life was greatly enhanced by his adorable greatgrandchildren, Matt, Maggie, Mitch, T. and Bell Adams; and his ever faithful little yorkie, Feather.

A self-made businessman and founder of the family business, Lee began in DELMAR Ruth Anna Cowgill, 80, of Delmar went to be with the Lord on Monday Jan. 26, 2009, at her residence. She was born March 22, 1928, a daughter of the late Harvey F. and Bessie Hughes Tribbitt. Mrs.

Cowgill was a 1945 graduate of Sudlersville High School. She and her husband, Charles, were farmers for several years before operating the business of Cowgill's Texaco Service Station in Denton. She later went to work for Rowen's Stationary in Easton until she retired. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of St.

Stephen's United Methodist Church in Delmar. She is survived by two sons, Charles G. Cowgill Jr. and a friend, Ellen Dublin of Smyrna and Daniel T. Cowgill and his wife Brenda of Denton; two daughters, Noami T.
