She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip E. Shipe; two sisters, Anna Ensor and Ella Shipe; and a brother, Maurice Dixon Jr.

Alice Pusey Perard Alice Perard BRIGHAM CITY, Utah Alice Pusey Perard, 77, died Thursday, March 8, 2007, at her home with her three daughters by her side and her loving dog, Muffy. She was born Nov. 16, 1929, in Alice Perard Salisbury, daughter of Fred and Wanita Pusey of Crisfield. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Art Barberi, and Edward Perard.

Alice worked as a secretary for Thiskol, from which she retired. She loved playing Scrabble, Bridge and Skipbo. Frugal by nature, she was teased for washing and reusing plastic bags and straws. She was a very talented seamstress, as was her mother. She also volunteered making interment clothes for premature babies.

A member of the Presbyterian Church, Alice was in Job's Daughters while her girls were teenagers. Surviving are daughters, Elaine Barbieri of Salt Lake City, Debbie Furuta, and husband, Bert, of Port Orchard, and Donna Clark, and husband, Jerry, of Brigham City; eight grandchildren; four great -grandchildren; one sister, Ethel Tawes of Virginia; one brother, Frederick (Mick), and his wife, Janie Pusey, of Eden; and several nieces and nephews. Born in Princess Anne, she was the daughter of the late Madeline Bullock and Hattie Mills Mason.

She was a member of St. James AME Zion Church in Salisbury, where she taught Sunday school, worked with the youth choir and directed plays. She retired from Peninsula Regional Medical Center after more than 20 years. She is survived by her husband, Dudley (Douglas) Bullock three sons, Tyrone Bullock Sr. (Karyn) of Owings Mills, Michael Bullock (Laura) of St.

Louis, and Kenneth Bullock Sr. (Edwina) of Fort Walton Beach, a stepdaughter, Brenda (Diane) Sample of Melfa; three brothers, Ervin Mason (Ladda) of Milford, Rayfield Mason Jr. (Leola) of Oxon Hill, and the Rev. White Sr. NEWARK, Md. Donald E. White 72, of Newark died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. Born in Greenbackville, on July 1, 1934, he was a son of the late Paul E.

White Sr. and Flora Dukes White. His late wife was Betty O. White. Mr.

White retired as supervisor for Moore Business Forms after 31 years of service. He was a member of the Whatcoat United Methodist Church in Snow Hill, where he was a former treasurer and choir member. He was an avid golfer, loved Chincoteague and served in the merchant marines. He is survived by a son and his wife, Don and Linda White Jr. of Owings Mills, a daughter, Deborah Wood of Newark; two grandchildren, Andrea Fletcher and Kristen Wood; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Early, Peyton and Kirsten Fletcher; his companion of 12 years, Connie Humphreys; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A brother, Paul White preceded him in death. A funeral service will be held today at 4 p.m. at Whatcoat United Methodist Church in Snow Hill, where friends may call one hour prior. The Rev. Sherwood McGrath will officiate.

She was an excellent cook and will be missed by family and friends for her sweet potato biscuits and fried chicken, which were part of her southern heritage.

She is survived by her loving husband of more than 62 years, William R. Kuhn; two daughters, Janice Ann Willis, and her husband, Eugene, of Hatteras, N.C., and Kathryn Erna KuhnMalpass, and her husband, Barry Douglas, of Mardela Springs; two sons, William Robert Kuhn II, and his wife, Debra, of Newark, and David Franklin Kuhn of Snow Hill; seven grandchildren, William Robert Kuhn III, Ryan Christopher Kuhn, Christopher Walters, Adam Campbell, Melba Jean Malpass, Claire Elizabeth Malpass and Kimberly Grace Malpass; two brothers, William Glover of Lewisburg, N.C., and Stan Glover of Kernersville, N.C.; two sisters, Barbara Ann Tyson of Spring Hope, N.C., Patricia Haynes of Raleigh, N.C.; and by several nieces and nephews. Kuhn WOODSFIELD, Ohio Helen Jane Russell, 73, of 201 Cherry Woodsfield, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at her residence. She was born in Princess Anne on Sept. 7, 1933, a daughter of the late Walter Francis and Mavah White Larmore Powell.

She was a retired nurse's aide, a member of the Woodsfield Christian Church and a member of the Women's Bowling League in Woodsfield and Pocomoke City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas Bryan Powell; and one sister, Frances Mae Pusey. Surviving are her husband, Junior Lee Russell, whom she married Nov. 27, 1953; four daughters, Kate (John) Mahoney of Akron, Ohio, Betty (Larry) Schaub of Lewisville, Ohio, Linda (Rex) McConnell of Lower Salem, Ohio, and Janet Russell of Woodsfield; two sons, Walter (Linda) Russell of Burlington, Iowa, and Richard (Kathy) Russell of Woodsfield; one brother, Walter Jones Powell of Princess Anne; 26 grandchildren; and 17 greatgrandchildren. Helen was a foster mother to Joey, Sissy and Penny, and an "adopted" mother to countless children and grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West in Woodsfield, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Pastor Herb Alexander will officiate.

Born March 8, 1934, she Delores Wright was the daughter of the late Harold John and Margaretta Jones Selby.

Delores was educated in the Somerset County public school system, where she graduated from Greenwood High School. She attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, earning an early childhood education certificate of development and was a few credits short of completing her bachelor's degree in education when illness incapacitated her. She began her career in education at Somerset County Head Start, Dames Quarter, where she taught for 28 years for the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare and Shore Up! Inc. She was previously employed in the food production industry in both Somerset and Wicomico counties.

Delores joined St. James United Methodist Church in Oriole at an early age and continued her membership there until the church was closed. She then transferred her membership to Grace in Venton, and then to Trinity United Methodist Community Worship Center in Princess Anne. Delores was a member of the church choir, the United Methodist Women and the hall committee. She was also a member of the Oriole Historical Society.

She is survived by her children, Laverne Wright, Dorethea Johnson, Patricia Johnson, Portia Wright and Rufus Wright IV, all of Princess Anne, and Emma Wright of Salisbury; four grandchildren, Daronn, Tremont, Keiosha Wright and Darius Jones; 10 stepgrandchildren; four sisters, Sylvia Jones of New Castle, Iola Shelton of Bridgeville, and Joyce Jones and Brenda Selby of Princess Anne; three brothers, Wallace Jones of New Castle, Arthur Selby of Millsboro and Joseph Selby of Princess Anne; one daughter inlaw, Kristal Wright; and two sons-in-law, Asbury Johnson and D'Wayne Johnson, all of Princess Anne; two brothers-inlaw, Allen Wright of Salisbury and Jesse Jones of Princess Anne; two sisters-in-law, Wendy Selby of Millsboro and Ruth Selby of Williamsburg, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and one special cousin, neighbor and friend, Margaret Johnson of Princess Anne.
