(AP) BilKinard, who was fired last year as head football coach at the University of Mississippi, has been cut off the Ole Miss payroll, school officials said. Chancellor Porter L. Fortune said the checks were cut off in August after officials were unable to reach Kinard to discuss his new coaching job with the NFL's Green Bay Packers. Kinard had over three years remaining on his $28,500 a year contract when he was fired last fall. He was replaced by former Coach John Vaught after the Rebels lost two of their first three games in 1973.

But Ballard and Snow Hill weren't through. On the second half kickoff, the Eagle quarterback took the ball and sprinted 83 yards for the touchdown which broke Caroline's back. Later in the period Ballard ed his third TD of the night on another one yard sneak. Nate Barkley rounded out the ing with a nine yard score. Monty Fisher got the Eagles on the scoreboard first, in the initial period when scoring from 19 yards out.

North Caroline packed all its scoring in the first half and was blanked over the final two periods. SNOW HILL had five interceptions with Hardy picking off three Bulldog passes. The Eagles amassed roughly 313 total offensive yards in their best game so far this season. Fisher finished with 86 yards rushing and Barkley was next with 66. Snow Hill is now 4-3 in the Flight and 5-3 overall and chances are looking brighter of a Class state tournament berth.
